About Helen

Helen is originally from Staten Island, New York.  She has lived in Florida since 1969.  After retiring in 2001, with much encouragement from her husband, Jim, she decided to pursue her hobby with passion and take her gift of art more seriously.

She started with pen and ink drawings, and then using books, self taught herself on the techniques of watercolor art.  That developed into mostly watercolor paintings often combined with pen and ink.  Helen loves detail as her work shows that.

She has sold her work for many years accompanied by her husband, Jim, on Pier 60 on Clearwater beach.  We were pleased to say we sold to people from more than 28 countries, and we met so many wonderful people. No longer on the Pier, but you can purchase this pictures online. 

Coldwater Creek (women's wear) has also purchased several of her holiday jewelry designs through South Sun, a California company.
